Les Duellistes — Privacy

How the game handles local progress, optional multiplayer and privacy requests.
Publisher and scope
Guillaume Claverie publishes Les Duellistes. This policy describes version 1.0 of the game on iPhone, iPad and Android. For privacy requests, contact guillaume351.claverie@gmail.com.
No advertising or tracking
The game has no advertising, in-app purchases, behavioural analytics or cross-app tracking. It does not request camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location access. No name, email or named login account is required.
Data on your device
Progress, unlocked cosmetics, settings for graphics, language, audio, accessibility and controls, and the last local Wi-Fi address are stored on your device. During an online session the room code and random resume token are also saved locally so the app can reconnect. The resume lease lasts about thirty seconds; session details are cleared when you leave. Local data can be removed using the operating system’s app-data controls or by uninstalling the app.
Optional online play
The publisher’s server temporarily processes commands, positions, scores, room codes, random reconnect tokens and appearance choices to run the match. Appearance choices and gameplay state are visible to your partner. The server necessarily receives the connection’s IP address. Remote connections are encrypted. Rooms are held in memory and disappear on closure or expiry, within six hours. Technical logs are bounded by rotation and do not retain a movement history or player profile. Network infrastructure and the hosting provider may process technical connection data.
Ranked profile and deletion
Searching for an online opponent creates a random pseudonymous identifier and profile. The server retains seasonal ratings, wins, losses and match counts, plus limited anti-repeat records used to protect ranking integrity. Your secret identity token stays on your device; the server stores only its hash. The profile persists between sessions until deletion. Private rooms and offline practice do not affect this ranking; population indicators show aggregate player counts only.
To delete the retained profile, finish or leave any active ranked match, then choose Online duel → Delete my profile and confirm in the game. This removes the server profile and associated anti-repeat records. Reinstalling the app may lose access to the previous profile, so delete it before uninstalling when possible. You may also request deletion or privacy help at guillaume351.claverie@gmail.com; send the public profile identifier if available, never the secret token. No new account or payment is required to request deletion.
Local Wi-Fi play
Local network permission allows two devices on the same Wi-Fi to connect. The player creating the room hosts the match on their device. Closing that app or putting the host to sleep may interrupt play.
Support messages and your choices
Information you email to support is used to answer your request and is kept only as needed to handle the conversation. Do not send passwords or secret reconnect/profile tokens. You can play offline without sending gameplay to the remote server. Contact guillaume351.claverie@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion of data associated with you. Data is not sold, used for advertising or shared with advertising or analytics services.
