How to install No Shorts
Follow these steps to activate the extension everywhere you use Safari.
- 1Install No Shorts from the App Store, then open the app once.
- 2On iPhone, iPad or Apple Vision Pro, open Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions and enable No Shorts. On older iPhone or iPad systems, Safari is directly in Settings. On Mac, open Safari → Settings → Extensions and select the checkbox next to No Shorts.
- 3Open youtube.com in Safari. In Safari’s page menu or extension menu, choose No Shorts and allow access to this website.
- 4Choose the Shorts filter, then reload youtube.com. Regular videos remain available; hiding the home feed, recommendations or comments is optional.
- 5If nothing changes, check website access and reload. If too much disappears, turn off the relevant filter or disable the extension, then reload.
