BrowseKind — Suporte

Get help with website sign-in, local filters, website data, or BrowseKind Plus.

Supported services and limitations

BrowseKind currently supports the mobile websites for YouTube, Instagram, and X on iPhone and Android 8.0 or later. It uses Apple WebKit or Android System WebView and does not reproduce or resell those services.

A website may change, refuse an embedded browser for a particular login step, or reserve a feature for its official app. When that happens, BrowseKind will show the safest available path or open an external page in Safari or the system browser.

Sign-in, two-factor authentication, and cookies

Enter your credentials only in the website displayed by the service. BrowseKind does not have its own social account system and cannot recover, unlock, or appeal a third-party account.

If sign-in loops, complete any two-factor step, reload the page, or clear only that service's website data from BrowseKind Settings and sign in again.

When a filter stops working

First reload the page and confirm the filter is enabled for that service. Social websites change frequently, so a selector may need a BrowseKind update.

When reporting a broken filter, include the BrowseKind version, iOS or Android version, service, page, and the filter name. Never include account credentials or private content.

Website data and subscriptions

  • Use Settings → Service filters and swipe a service to clear only its local cookies, cache, and storage.
  • Use Settings → Clear all website data to sign out of every service in BrowseKind.
  • Use Restore Purchases for an existing Plus subscription and Manage Subscription to change or cancel it through Apple or Google Play, depending on where it was purchased.

Android sign-in, App Shield, and notifications

Google or another service may refuse an account sign-in from an embedded WebView. BrowseKind does not bypass that restriction and cannot transfer cookies from an external browser back into the app.

App Shield is optional, off by default, and can be revoked in Android accessibility settings. The official social apps may remain installed so their notifications can still arrive. When you tap one of those notifications, App Shield can redirect you to the corresponding BrowseKind service, but the notification's exact destination may not be preserved.
